Kris Glaubitz – CCM, ECM

Congressional Country Club

Kris has served as the Director of Food Beverage at Congressional Country Club since September of 2019. While at Congressional, Kris has worked hard with his F&B team to improve, enhance, and upgrade the dining program by offering an expanded Sommelier program, a Centennial Wine Bottle Program, Great Lawn Outdoor Pop-Up Grill Stations, Pavilion Café and Marketplace, House Grill Weekly Wine Downs, Chophouse Weekly Features, and the Founders’ Pub Fresh Squeezed Juice Bar Program. Amid the pandemic, Kris had the mindset to take ownership of how he and his team could best support the Club and the Team Members.  He moved quickly to adapt their operation to produce a safe environment by adhering to CDC guidelines while also providing as much service to the Members as possible.

Kris has been committed to the Club Management profession for 18-years and has been an active member of CMAA since 2005. He is a lifelong learner and attends CMAA BMI and National Conferences when he can. He is also currently participating in the Echelon Front Leadership Program.

Kris attended Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

He is married to his fourth-grade fairytale, Claudia, and they are expecting their first children, twin girls, in October of this year.
