Peter Holt – ECM

Peter Holt has been a private club GM/COO for more than 25 years. 

Over the course of his career, he has managed; Cutten Fields, Oshawa G&CC, Weston G&CC and Hamilton G&CC. Before that Peter worked in the Greater Toronto Area at Lambton G&CC and The Country Club, where he started as a locker room assistant at 15 years of age. Peter also spent two years working in Disney World in Epcot Center in the Canadian and UK pavilions. 

Since 2015, Peter has led the HGCC Management Team and worked with the Board of Directors to provide leadership and direction as the club continues to build on its traditions and values. The club has a variety of projects and initiatives on the go including; long-term planning with Vision 2030, a new membership model, and at the forefront is the Golf Course Improvement Plan project that includes new greens, bunkers and an irrigation system and an $11 million budget over the next two years. 

Peter is highly visible at the club and he enjoys a quick nine holes of golf as part of Men’s League. He also understands the importance of spending time with his wife Mary and their three adult children, Sarah, Eric and Melissa.
